IN THIS VIDEO, PROF MOHAMMED MUHTASEB EXPLAINS HOW SMILE WORKS FOR SHORT-SIGHT
How does SMILE laser eye surgery work for short-sight?
SMILE is a fantastic procedure for patients who are short-sighted and in their twenties, thirties or early forties.
It’s also possible to use SMILE to correct short-sightedness after cataract surgery or refractive lens exchange surgery if a patient’s outcome is slightly more myopic than was planned at the preoperative level. With SMILE we could make a very fine adjustment so that the distance vision is improved by that little extra point of precision.
